 Easy to use, consistent readings, but inaccurate, 2008-06-22
This wrist BP monitor is easy to use, with clear digital readouts. Gives consistent readings but when compared with BP taken with a cuff and stethoscope at the Dr.'s office, the numbers were about 20 points high (both systolic and diastolic. Knowing that, I think is fine for monitoring change over time but if you need to actually know what your BP is, then this model isn't for you. Too bad there is no way to calibrate the monitor.

I felt that this cuff was more accurate than other types of at-home monitors I have used. I sometimes have a hard time getting it in the exact position to start it, but I think it is more my fault than the monitor's. I would definitely recommend this.

I've never needed to use a blood pressure monitor before so I was a bit unsure about it. Once I figured out the correct arm position, using this monitor is very easy. It keeps a log of readings that I can take in to my doctor. The readings are very consistent. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor, 2008-05-27
I had a few of these bought before, and this particular wrist blood pressure monitor works great. and it has a useful automatic system that helps you to place your wrist in the right position by your heart for high accuracy. for the price i paid it is a steal ($39.99).

Omron HEM-637 Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor with Advanced Positioning Sensor
The doctor told me my blood pressure was high and to purchase a bp monitor. After reading several reviews, I decided on this model. It had good consumer reviews and it seemed very easy to use compared to the arm cuff monitors. After purchase, I took it to my doctor's office and the nurse did my pressure and it was high on their equipment and lower by 20 points on this monitor. The doctor came in about 20 minutes later and retook it and he had the same results to. He said that I needed to get a Large Cuff monitor because I would get a much more accurate reading and it I could better control my blood pressure and my chance of stroke.
So as cool and easy as this model is to use, my health is more important and I am returning this WRIST MODEL and ordering a Large Cuff monitor
